"Descendants of John Williams of Isle of Wight County, Virginia, by William M. Mann, Jr., Christmas, 1961"  is an Adobe Acrobat file of the book.  It is a standard for reference about John Williams.

The following three Word documents were provided by Dr. Bary Bascomb Hayes.  They contain inter-relating information about the descendants of John Williams and their relatives:

Lewis Williams may have been a brother or other relative of the John Williams who died in 1691-92 as he left a bequest in his will to a grandson of this , namely John Williams, son of William Williams.  His will dated Oct. 1, 1716 and proved April 16, 1717 appears in Vol. 34, p. 68 of the N.C. Dept. of Hist. and Archives, NC Wills 1663 - 1789 and names John Williams son of William Willaims.

John Whitley was Anne Whitley's father.

John Brown married Bridgett, a daughter of John Williams who died in 1691-92.

Moore and Penny Families - This document comes from "Deborah  Byrd" dwbyrd@usa.net  October 10, 2009 and contains information on certain members of the Williams family who married into these two families.   I pointed out some errors in these documents.

I photographed the following document which contains information about the Williams, Philips, and Battle famillies, all ancestors of mine, while visiting my aunt Jean Holthouse Smith in July of 2009.  I think it was prepared by my mother, Margaret Holthouse.
