Douglas and Jennifer Hake

 
DOUGLAS P. HAKE, 44, and Jennifer A. (Tosconi) Hake, 41, of Hartselle, Ala., formerly of Decatur, died on Sunday, April 25, 2010, from a tragic motorcycle accident.
 
Doug was born on March 17, 1966, in Decatur, he was the son of Dale F. and Sarah J. (Gass) Hake. Jennifer was born on July 17, 1968, in Ft. Knox, Ky., she was the daughter of James J. and Carol A. (Kokosa) Tosconi.
 
Doug and Jennifer were married on April 9, 1989, in Fort Wayne.
 
Doug worked as a manager for Bunge North America, Decatur, Ind., before he was transferred to Bunge Plant, Decatur, Ala., in September, as a Plant Superintendent.
 
Jennifer worked for Wells Fargo Bank, Decatur, Ind. as a personal banker.
 
They both attended a Catholic church in Decatur, Ala. and were members of St. Mary of the Assumption Catholic Church, Decatur, Ind. Jennifer was a Eucharistic Minister at St. Mary of the Assumption Catholic Church.
 
Doug and Jennifer were both members of the Elk's Lodge 993, in Decatur, Ind.
 
The couple is survived by their parents; four children, Christopher, Zachary, Benjamin, and Sydnee Hake; Doug's brothers, Geoffrey (Lori) Hake and Jason (Amy) Hake, both of Decatur; Doug's sister, Amanda Hake of Florida; Jennifer's brothers, William (Kim) Tosconi of Richmond, Ind. and Andrew Tosconi of Port Fredrick of Maryland; Jennifer's sister, Kimberly (Dennis) Loxton of St. Mary's, Fla.
 
Doug was preceded in death by two brothers Christopher J. and Dennis A. Hake.
 
Mass of Christian Burial is 10:30 a.m. Monday, May 3, 2010, at St. Mary of the Assumption Catholic Church. Con celebrant for Mass will be Father David Voors and Father Ben Kakwezi.
 
Calling is from noon to 7 p.m. Sunday, May 2, 2010, at Haggard & Sefton Funeral Home, Decatur, with reciting of the Holy Rosary at 7 pm. Burial in St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery, Decatur, Ind.
