Daughter of Henry Bernard Feldhaus Jr. and Mary Ann Schneider
Born:     Lawrenceburg, TN on Jun 29, 1904
Died:     Nashville, TN on October 13, 1989
Clara won a Model A Ford roadster at a church raffle when her younger brother, Lawrence Feldhaus, was just old enough
to drive.   He took it for a spin and ended up totaling the car in the front yard of one of the Catholic church parishioners
who lived on the old Florence Road close to Raven Bluff.   On Charlie Feldhaus' web page Charlie is shown in a 1930 Model
A Coupe that may well be the one Lawrence wrecked.   This picture shows Clara with a circa 1935 coupe.   She's wearing
her brother's clothes as a prank.   The picture below is also of Clara wearing her brother's clothes.

Clara followed Mary to Nashville and worked her entire life as a private care Registered nurse at St. Thomas hospital.
Clara was working there when my wife, Janice, worked there as a Dietitian about 1962. She was well liked and
in constant demand. She lived in various apartments in some of the magnificant old houses near the hospital.

Clara was a frequent visitor to Lawrenceburg as I was growing up.
After she retired, she moved into a Catholic retirement home near the hospital.   She pased away there and was buried
with her family at Calvary Cemetery in Lawrenceburg.
